I got an email from customer service at AG and the large salver is no longer available as a replacement part. Does this mean Felicity's party treats won't be made anymore? I sure hope they are not going to be added to her long list of retirements!

That's so disappointing! I needed a new large salver since mine broke a long time ago (it was from my sister's childhood collection).

I can't think of why they wouldn't have anymore unless it's going to be retired...

I wonder if it means that too many of them break and they might switch to acrylic or something?

Let's not panic yet about retirements.

It may be that many break, but acrylic- YUCK!

I'll probably try to buy another full set soon just in case...

Thanks Tracy, I'll try back later today. This was several months ago when I first checked. First the rep said it was $7, then she said it was unavailable. I'll see if I get a better answer from someone else.

You can always ask to talk to costumer service, they sometimes have a better understanding of things.

You could always buy a new set and keep the salver and then sell the rest on ebay.

Customer Service told me not too long ago that they are really cutting back on the number of replacement items and that it is based on customer requests. I tried to get a new vase of flowers that went with Kit's birthday dishes because the one they sent me was broken and they told me I couldn't get a replacement. I would think items that could be broken should definitely have the option to get them replaced Replacement parts also get expensive on the part of the consumer. I think for the most part it's worth not having to buy an entire new item when you just want a piece, but my daisy wreath that went with Kirsten's birthday
dress was looking a little droopy and when I went to get a new wreath, it was $9! I could have gotten the wreath PLUS the dress and a pair of socks for $22.

Just editing to say that I agree this probably does not mean anything about the status of the party treats, I think they want people to have to buy new sets when things break rather than having the option to just get a replacement.

I ordered a bunch of Kits party treats replacment parts. Like the platter, cake, kit kats, and some dishes. hmm weird that they didn't have the vase, I would call back.
